Tdi caddy (well eventually)

So I managed to kill the 1.5l diesel na in my truck and decided to replace it with a 1.9l tdi from a 97 passat, which I found on craigslist, in an old vw dasher...

get it out already!

bedroom rehab

moldy built-in bedframe, trashed carpet from the 80's

 

carpet and padding were falling apart, moldy and gross.

 new and improved bedframe, lofted 5 ft.  legless!

install new hardwood floor and trim (habitat for humanity, denver; $35)

fill the room back up with junk!

decoupage; mapping the dinner table

 hood-rat table, cleaned and prepped for mapping.

cut the maps to size and test fit on table.

 1 coat of Polycrylic Protective Finish every 30 minutes for 4 hrs

let dry

4 hrs later, all dried and glossy as ever!

fully functional in 24 hrs
